Make sure your students get an Activity Completion tick

Ensure your students keep interacting within myAMES - even just by moving their mouse. If myAMES 'times out', students work won't be saved. Students may not even realise they've been timed out.

If a student doesn't achieve a 'pass' of 50% the will see a instead of a .  If they don't achieve 50%, their work will not be visible in your  Checklist  either.  Students can keep retrying an H5P until they DO achieve a pass mark. 

1 H5Ps

Some students don't get an Activity Completion tick for an H5P because they aren't progressing to the final slide - or they don't choose to Submit.  You will need to teach them to do this. 

The final slide - Summary- ensures the tick

Students must go through all the slides and also go to the Summary Slide, the last slide in the set. It displays a star symbol.

This is what the summary slide looks like. If students don't go to this slide their work isn't reported as an  Activity Completion.

When students need to Submit Answers to get a tick

Some H5Ps have questions within a video. For this activity students need to submit their answers for their Activity Completion.  The page they go to submit their answers displays a star symbol also.

When students need to Submit Answers AND click the Summary slide

Some activities have a video within another activity. In this case students need to click on BOTH stars.They must 1. Answer the questions in the video, 2. 'Submit the Answers' to these questions. 3. Click the next star to ensure the Activity Completion.

2 URLs

Students only need to click and follow the URL link to get an Activity Completion. 

Sometimes a tick won't appear immediately and may need a browser refresh.  (To refresh a browser - press the F5 key at the top of the keyboard - function 5).

3 Forums

To get an Activity Completion tick a student must either 'Post' a discussion in the forum, or they must 'Reply' to a discussion in a forum.
Just viewing a forum will not create an Activity Completion tick.
